Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most well-known role was Skyler on AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. The actress fell in love with acting in the Preparatory school, prior to moving to Ohio with her family in mid-70s. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for a number of years before attempting TV and movie role. Anna received her breakthrough in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. In the early 90s Anna was a frequent guest on TV and in films like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years during Deadwood's 2nd season. Skyler was the character she played on Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film, and other movies also featured her. Gunn has also appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the podcast audio drama of four episodes called Numbered Days, which was made available in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the relationship between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and final break-up echoes the last years of Walter White's life.
