Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished psychologist since 1993 and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She was widely credited as the pioneer of modern studies of eyewitnesses' memory, and also children's witnesses. Professor Goodman is an prolific writer and has been awarded several awards and grants. She has provided consulting on research and policy for numerous government agencies and departments from all over the world. She is a consultant at the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a fellow of numerous professional associations, including the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology-Law Society Psychology of women and trauma stress 56). Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and also the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division, as well as three Divisions: Children and Families Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
