Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15, 1996, in Stavanger) is an Norwegian music producer and a vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well received by music blogs. The artist has already recorded two high-profile covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis for a Christmas advertisement by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway with her voice, also gave her the track a little more attention. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding a piano hidden in the attic of her home, then becoming enthralled by the sound it made. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to make music as a means of personal growth, rather than for the purpose of making money or for as a hobby. The Aksnes family encouraged her to compose. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan as influences as well as an affinity for Bjork's style. The singer decided to perform the songs she wrote publicly after her mother said they can help other people, not be famous with her work, but instead help the people around them understand the importance of their work and how they could impact the world. The piano was first played by her when she was just six and was writing her first song at the age of nine. She didn't tell her family about her music until she reached fourteen. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. The only thing she loves is to write music. To her, music is the best way to express anything.
